BACHanalia
This 10-day retreat offers audiences and students alike the opportunity to explore and deepen their understanding of the foundations of western music and baroque practice.
Concerts and films will be presented at PS/21; talks, most master classes and symposia will be held at the Spencertown Academy. There will be 2 public concerts each weekend, and mid-week, free “taste of baroque” mini-recitals, open master classes, films related to the world of the baroque, and improvisation sessions bridging the baroque and jazz.

Master Classes for pre-registered advanced students are also open for public audience. Tickets for the Master Classes and the Films and concerts can be purchased at the door. A pass to all 21 Bachanalia events can be purchased in advance for a $100 member, $120 non-member.
 
Tickets for the classes may be purchased at the door. The ticket price is $8.00 for members of PS/21 and the Spencertown Academy and $10.00 for others.
